Feature Film

Stefan Müller’s independent romantic horror flick “Das Biest” is about a couple who want to spend a few days on holiday in a secluded holiday home to save their relationship. “The Beast” puts a stop to both, with the support of various visual effects and realistic 3D animations.

Length: ca. 75 Min.
Format: Full-HD
Year: 2014

This film required a large amount of complex and elaborate visual effects and 3D animations, which we supervised and implemented – in some cases already from the shooting on the set.
Among them are the completely animated intro and outro sequence – an aerial shot over a forest landscape. The complete title design, with its own sequences especially for the trailer and various matte painting, keying and tracking tasks were also part of our work. The most elaborate part was the implementation of several explosions, fire, and finally the collapse of a burning house with live action footage of the actors.
